Marketing and Sponsorship Coordinator

Devised, created, and launched marketing campaigns for events and sponsorship sales. Drafted marketing copy and graphics packages. Composed press releases and informative blog posts about legislative issues. Sold sponsorship packages in excess of $25k. Managed six volunteer committees with an average of 20-30 members each. Led coordination, planning, and execution of events with 300+ attendance, including 1,200 person gala. Sent emails.
Teacher
August 2021 - May 2023
Taught high schoolers English. Sometimes Theater. And one class of Classical Latin. Made Hamlet interesting to 16 year olds. Tried to make Cicero interesting to 16 year olds. Failed at making the ACT interesting to 16 year olds. Built a lot of theatrical sets. Sewed a lot of costumes. Won some awards.
Events and Administrative Coordinator

Provided front-end UX support for company website, including HTML coding and site design. Designed graphics packages for large-scale marketing campaigns, including event publicity, membership renewal drives, and annual fundraisers. Provided administrative and marketing support for PAC and government affairs efforts, including social media campaigns related to state and local legislative issues.
Portrait Photographer

Photographed students at local schools during oftentimes high-stress, rapidly-changing circumstances. Uplifted and supported students with varying needs, abilities, and comfort levels, ensuring each student felt welcomed and cared for during the portrait session.
Teaching Artist
June 2015 - August 2019
Directed multiple shows with a wide variety of age ranges, including young children and teenagers. Designed show creative elements while teaching students the fundamentals of design and construction. Taught playwriting courses for students that culminated in staged readings with local adult actors. Spearheaded independent projects, including full-scale productions of student-written new work.
